hi, wanted to make a world update and got some blocking stuff.
i found some threads here, but the solutions doesnt work for me
# emerge -vp openmotif motif-config
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild N ] x11-libs/openmotif-2.3.0-r1 USE="jpeg png -doc -examples -xft" 0 kB
[ebuild N ] x11-libs/motif-config-0.10-r2 9 kB
[blocks B ] x11-libs/motif-config (is blocking x11-libs/openmotif-2.3.0-r1)
Total: 2 packages (2 new, 1 block), Size of downloads: 9 kB
how to fix that? thanks |

Moved from Portage & Programming to Duplicate Threads, refer to topic "openmotif and motif-config" specifically the posts by V-Li and ulm.
In short, x11-libs/motif-config is no longer necessary due to some recent reorganization.

emerge -av1 x11-libs/openmotif # The 1 is optional. |
