Yesterday was installing some stuff to get anti aliassing working here, and i set another use flag (USE="truetype type1"). After that, the guide said i need to run emerge -avuDN world . It took a few hours, and after that I wasn't able to run KDE again .
When i run startx I get an error which says kdeinit will not start.
So i was going to search kdeinit, which was at /usr/kde/3.5/kdeinit . When I try to run kdeinit I get this error:
Code: | /usr/kde/3.5/bin/kdeinit: error while loading shared libraries: libexpat.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. |
So i could not go to any graphical place .
I emerged fluxbox to make it easier to find some information on the internet about this, but when I started firefox i got almost the same error:
Code: | No running windows found
/usr/lib64/mozilla-firefox/firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libexpat.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
firefox-bin exited with non-zero status (127) | (I am now browsing graphical with links )
I tried to re-emerge libexpat, but with no results.
Does anybody know how to solve this? _________________ "Story in a game is like a story in a porn movie. It's expected to be there, but it's not that important." - John Carmack |
