|
|
I could need some basic help as to why my sound card isn't found at bootup. I'm a pretty blind Gentoo newb, and my system is newly installed.
This is what is interesting during the boot:
Code: | ALSA Device List:
No soundcards found |
My soundcard is an M-Audio Delta Audiophile 2496, and is listed on the alsa-project.org website as supported.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have the (correct) kernel options for your soundcard chipset in your kconfig?

Solution: Enable some stuff in Device Drivers - Sound
That's basically it. Thanks, KRF. |
