JAVA and ALSA?

Is there any native support for ALSA in Blackdown or Sun's JDK/JRE?

btw: why can't I search for titles only in this forum?

IIRC Sun's JRE supports ALSA. Don't know if this is true for Blackdown...

but it tries to access the soundcard directly, not over the "default" device like it should
