Hi,
I have searched this thread to find out if anyone else has experienced this bug, if I can call it that.

Basically, When running a search in the forums, I can't seem to be able to browse the rest of the results pages, eg: Page 2,3,4,5 etc....
Now the funny thing is, that sometimes I can, maybe page 2, or a skip to 5 etc, but oherwise I get the :
Code:

No topics or posts met your search criteria

Page...

Further notes: This also happens when I check posts since my last visit, and pasts within the last 24 hours...

Has anyone else had this problem? I do apologise if this is a duplicate, but did make an attempt to search first, even with Google, since searching is not quite the same as what it used to be a year ago... Or maybe it is just me...

Thanks

This will happen if you perform another search (including last visit, 24hrs, etc. as it's all the same codebase) in between viewing pages. Although I've seen it when that isn't the case, there's a bug about it here: Search results timeout too soon.

I've implemented things differently in the new search engine that's being written, which so far has gotten rid of this problem. Only problem is I've been very busy recently so haven't had much time to work on it.

Thanks for the quick reply. Things are making much more sense now. I was beginning to wonder if my proxy was not the problem, but bypassing it, also yielded the same problem. So, at least I can stop worries about it on my side.

Wishing you good luck with resolving this. Looking forward to being able to read following pages :-).

Keep up the good work guys.

J
