Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, I got this response last tuesday:
Quote: | Hello Aaron,
Thank you for contacting Customer Service at Macromedia, now part of Adobe Systems.
I understand that you are looking for the Linux version of Flash Player 8.
Unfortunately, we do not have a timeframe on when this will be released. I suggest that you check our website once in a while for updates. I apologize for this inconvenience.
If you have further concerns, feel free to write us back.
Regards,

There isn't going to be a flash 8 on Linux, ever. They're skipping over it and going directly to 8.5 instead. _________________ Thomas S. Howard |

I know, which is why I said Flash Player 8 (or 9) in the topic title. They're not even going to go to 8.5 they've already bumped the version# of 8.5 up to 9. |

When did that happen? They made a big deal about how 8.5 was definitely coming out for linux. Weak. _________________ Thomas S. Howard |
