What is a program in gentoo that works similar to the Sound Recorder in Windows? I need to cut, clip, and save some wav clips... _________________ only the paranoid survive |

Gnome has Sound Recorder 2.2.1.1 -- looks nearly identical to win sound recorder. Now, I've never actually tried it to see that it works... |

I would give audacity a try.
I has a bit more to offer than you need while it still has a very basic ui. _________________ linux user 65882 |

I'd be interested if you could get KDE 3.1.0's KRec to work. If you installed kde multimedia, it should appear in the multimedia menu.
I couldn't get anything out of it on my system though. The mic was working as confirmed with alsamixer, but KRec couldn't 'hear' it. |
