|
|
I'm trying out the new rhapsody browser-based player in Firefox 1.0.7, and when trying to play, the player comes up and then switches to a window that offers the helpful "Technical problem". No indication of what technical problem. Just the bad news.
Anyone got this player working? Maybe my rhapsody account or comcast account are broken or clashing? Or any clues how to debug this?

I have it working using Firefox 1.07. Tried using Firefox 1.5 with user agent flags set for Firefox 1.07 and it installed, but crashed shortly afterwards. |

I got mine working at home ... somehow, but at work its crashing left and right. I'm gonna try a Suse Firefox RPM in a second here, and see if that does the trick.
Edit: I noticed that installing flashblock on my Firefox fixed some of the issues. What was happening to me, is immediately after logging in, it would kill my browser. Now its not doing that. Still, this isn't the most stable thing in the world, but once you get it working, it stays open for quite a while. _________________ If it ain't broke, tweak it. dvds | blurays | blog | wiki |

Just tried again with FF 1.5.0.7 and I get the browser segfault. Wait a sec and I'll post a backtrace. The browser shouldn't crash so maybe I'll log a bug somewhere. Code: | Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Traceback doesn't show much except for the plugin. What is "nprhapengine"?
Edit: check out http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?p=2443079 I deleted the old plugin and installed the new one and it just works. Didn't even have to do anything fancy! |
