mplayer doesnt read audio cd [SOLVED]

When I try to play an audio CD I type:

mplayer /dev/hdc

And this is the error I get:

Weird enough mcdp works fine. I guess I will stick with it.

First, you have to emerge mplayer with the cdparanoia use flag. Then, use
