Hello all. I found this 1997 card in my basement., actually 3 of the same kinds. I've had a dell sblive value card and i hate it. no mixing. it sucks to the max. so i am always to lazy to get another card. i will eventualy i saw some for like 10 dollars but this was more convinient. actually its some kinda crazy sound / video card. and well it was pci so i popped it in. now i looked in the matrix but first lemme give you whatever it says on these cards...

It depends on what kind of card it is - some of those do not offer the sound I/O to the computer directly, but require you to connect them to an internal soundcard.
Which sort of defeats the purpose.
