kmail 3.4.1-r1 why not stable ?!

I am trying to be a STABLE gentoo user.

but i am checking that TESTING is getting to be more stable than STABLE ! ( TESTING = ~x86 )

now , for example kmail 3.4.1-r1 .... it only addes a patch to a bugfix ( shift click + left mouse button on mail reader )

why isnt it stable !? it is surelly much more stable than 3.4.1 , that i can make it crash everytime !!
