I'm just wondering if anyone is aware of any tools to verify the quality of a burned dvd... I have been using readcd -c2scan for burned cd's but I'm not sure if it works the same for testing dvd's |

no.. well, not for linux at least. I have been using dvdinfopro (windows app). |

with Plextor 712, 716 and 760 you can use pxlinux or QPxTool for dvd quality check.
For cd quality check you can use the cxscan-option of readcd (also Plextor Premium and NEC). You need the readcd.c from Alexander Noe and cdrtools-2.01.01_alpha01 or alpha03.
