HOW can I install the monkeyaudiodecoder for k3b? is there an ebuild available?
Older version of K3b ebuilds (0.11.10) had the possibility to use the 'monkey' USE flag.
In the newer versions this has gone.
I tried to build an ebuild myself, but this leaded only to error messages
susch as: Code: |
aux_get(): ebuild path for 'app-cdr/k3bmonkeyaudioplugin-0.99' not specified:
!!! None |
The path for custom ebuilds is defined correctly in make.conf

You better use a script for conversion!
I found a ebuild somewhere on the web.
But playing monkey audio files is not as reliable as it seems.
Sometimes k3b crashed so I leaced this option.
Now I use a script -found at the gentoo forum - for conversion to mp3 or convert with xmms to wav files.
(For some monkey audio data I had to unload xmms plugins for mp3 and others otherwise xmms crashed) |
