This thread is for those who have undefined references in libGL with the latest nvidia drivers
it seems that the location of the nvidia drivers has changed with the new version (8756). the new location is /usr/lib/opengl/nvidia/lib
but if you emerge nvidia-glx, the old libraries are left in /usr/lib/ and some applications may complain about undefined references _nv0000xxxx (especially KDE programs)
the solution is to delete the old libraries :
rm -f /usr/lib/libGL.*
rm -f /usr/lib/libGLcore.*
that solved the problem for me
hope that helps |

Would it be worth adding this note to the nvidia ebuilds? _________________ Desktop: AMD Athlon64 3800+ Venice Core, 2GB PC3200, 2x160GB 7200rpm Maxtor DiamondMax 10, 2x320GB WD 7200rpm Caviar RE, Nvidia 6600GT 256MB
