|
|
How does one go about adjusting the font size of the text in the Watch Recording section? I've bumped all the font sizes up in Myth's Setup and have tried adjusting the system (KDE 3.2.1) font settings. They are way to small to read at their current size.
Thanks,

Turns out it was a problem with the way X was rendering the fonts. In the Monitor Section of my XF86Config, I had to add: Code: | DisplaySize width(mm) height(mm) |
After playing around with these setting, I finally found a font size that looked good.

Do you use the video module? I can't seem to affect the Description text hardly at all. It be very very tiny. _________________ www.bearscanfly.org - Because hiking is cool |

Sorry. I've been pretty busy with work. What do you mean by video module?

I imagine he's talking about the MythVideo module...for watching mpeg/avi/etc. I would think the same fix would help, but I haven't had alot of luck changing font sizes...but I haven't tried much. |

Yeah, that's what I was talking about. I did change the description text size finally. I had to set the DisplaySize very small to get results though. But now, for some reason, the text gets bigger when you start scrolling through the list. It suddenly jumps up about 2-4 pts more! Weird. You should see myth running though. The box was my old roommates and he just bought a 50" LCD projection, widescreen HDTV. It's awesome. And now it can run without using framebuffer, hence, xv support now working. ...... ati rage card.... _________________ www.bearscanfly.org - Because hiking is cool |

That does sound pretty sweet. My backend is the PC I usually work on, (XP2800+), pretty quick, but my frontend, in the bedroom is just a bunch of parts I've put together. It all works well though. Excellent software. I've been half tempted to buy an Xbox just so I can play with it and myth. |
