sfxload and asfxload freeze

Hello!
I have experienced some problems with 2.6.6 kernel and sfxload. When I want to load a new soundfont with sfxload anyfont.SF2, it hangs.. Even I cannot kill this process with kill -9. Anybody has same experiences? And why can't I kill this process (with root privilegies...)

I experience the same. It just stopped working two days ago after not having any troubles for months. Any hints?
