I was also looking into this mp3 player, but my only worry is linux support. Has anyone heard of these working or not working with linux? Thanks |

If the player behaves like a solid state disk (think USB-pendrive kinda thing) it should be no problem under linux, since you can adress it the same way as a pendrive. If it deviated from this standard (needs weird drivers to run etc.) it probably won't work, unless they have linux drivers.
Best bet would be to find someone that already has one of these and try it out. There's an excellent how-to on setting up usb massive storage support on the forums, just use search.

I have this one (the 256 Mb version)
Works just fine
you need usb-storage, vfat, sg and a coupla of other modules.
Just treat it like any pen drive, then after you plug it in, do mount /dev/sda* /mnt/wherever
can give more info if necessary
