|

Any time I try to watch a movie (VCD or file), this is what I get:
Code: | libmad: ALERT input buffer too small (2293 bytes, 0 avail)!
audio_alsa_out: snd_pcm_open() of front failed: Invalid argument
audio_alsa_out: >>> check if another program don't already use PCM <<< |
I'm using the alsa and xv drivers. I also have no problem at all listening to songs in XMMS. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Do you use the standard 2.4 kernel or the development 2.6? Did you do a custom kernel config? If so which also drivers did you pick? Your sound might be working with a compatible driver, but not the one exactly appropriate for your card. I haven't seen this problem before, it's just an educated guess. _________________ Plenty of reasons to not use Microsoft software |
