OK, but does the client connection successful? I mean were there any message(s) indicate session failure? (At client session shell) |

I think there were progress from your initial post up till this point, at the time of your initial post there might be some configuration issue(s) however you have successfully corrected them. you might be expect seeing something else so not aware of successful connection. It seems to me you are preoccupied by something else. I suggest you focus on that thing you have in mind. don't worry about this ssh connection, it is working now.
I notice from your sshd.log it seems lag of PAM's messages so I will assume it is not configured to use PAM. using PAM is not critical but do give some help for controlling sshd therefor providing a bit higher degree of security. The key here is that once your network is open to net you need to pay attention to security, you cannot rely on default. |
