|
|
Hi all,
I am unable to connect to rdp files wiht freedrp. I have tried several and the error message is the same:
Code: | [18:23:55:158] [10822:00002a47] [DEBUG][com.freerdp.core] - [freerdp_connect_begin]: resetting error state
[18:23:55:158] [10822:00002a47] [INFO][com.freerdp.client.x11] - [xf_setup_x11]: Enabling X11 debug mode.
[18:23:55:161] [10822:00002a47] [DEBUG][com.freerdp.client.x11] - [xf_GetWindowProperty]: Property 310 does not exist
[18:23:55:190] [10822:00002a47] [ERROR][com.freerdp.client.common] - [freerdp_client_load_channels]: Failed to load addins [00000000]
[18:23:55:191] [10822:00002a47] [DEBUG][com.freerdp.core.rdp] - [rdp_finalize_reset_flags][0x5606f1d15ad0]: [CONNECTION_STATE_INITIAL]
reset finalize_sc_pdus
[18:23:55:191] [10822:00002a47] [DEBUG][com.freerdp.core.rdp] - [rdp_client_transition_to_state][0x5606f1d15ad0]: CONNECTION_STATE_INITIAL --> CONNECTION_STATE_INITIAL
[18:23:55:192] [10822:00002a46] [ERROR][com.freerdp.core] - [freerdp_abort_connect_context]: ERRCONNECT_CONNECT_CANCELLED [0x0002000B] |
However freerdp works fine connectig to a Windows10 local virtual machine using QEmu with Code: | freerdp /u:<user> /p:<password> /v:localhost +fonts -grab-keyboard /dynamic-resolution /microphone:sys:pulse,format:1,quality:high /audio-mode:sys:pulse,format:1,quality:high +clipboard /bpp:24 /drive:auto,* /gfx-h264:AVC444
|
I have tried to get this issue to upstream, but the only response I got was that the build is missing some required addins and were unable to assist in identifying which ones.
Freerdp has been compiled with the following flags: Code: | [ebuild R ~] net-misc/freerdp-3.2.0:0/3::gentoo USE="X aad alsa cups ffmpeg fuse icu jpeg openh264 pulseaudio usb xinerama -debug -gstreamer -kerberos -sdl -server -smartcard -systemd -test -valgrind -wayland -xv" 0 KiB |
Is there anything obvious that I am missing before opening a bug in bugzilla? The issue is present in both the stable and unstable versions of freerdp
Thanks

???, Maybe out of my knowledge...
Currently connected from linux/X11 to headless linux/X11 with net-misc/remmina.
net-misc/xrdp is required on the headless side. Code: | uc@amd64 ~ $ rc-update
...
xrdp | default |
It also could be manually started via ssh connection to headless.
My guess is whatever your client is, shouldn't work if you have that bit missing or not running.

Hi CaptainBlood,
I am connecting to Windows machines. One is for work and is always on. The other one is a Win10 in a local VM that I can successfully connect to with the command I posted on my first post. I cannot get freerdp to work when I create an rdp file for my local VM, nor with the work's rdp file.
Thanks _________________ I don't fear the people. I fear the demon inside them. |

Oh,
Only connecting to M$?
I know passwordless M$ can't be RDP to without registry fiddling...
Is that your use case?

No, it's not my case. Both Win machines have user passwords. It is already explained in the opening post.
The issue happens way before freerdp even attempts to connect to the Win machines... The error is instantaneous _________________ I don't fear the people. I fear the demon inside them. |

I see.
I guess that rdp file has been exported from the distant host, or is it?
