|
|
Hi.
For some reason i cannot run whatsapp-for-linux anymore after upgrading my Gentoo.
However, i found out that i can run it under firejail
So i suppose i have some configuration files or something that might prevent it from running normally..?
I alreadt deleted:
Code: | rm -rf ~/.config/whatsapp-for-linux ~/.cache/whatsapp-for-linux ~/.local/share/whatsapp-for-linux |
But still can't run whatsapp-for-linux normally.
Any ideas? |

"Cannot run" is very vague. What is the exact failure mode? Does it crash? Hang? Claim that your account credentials are wrong?
If it works under firejail, fixing this seems theoretically interesting, but practically not that valuable. The nature of the application suggests to me it should be kept in a jail, so since it works in firejail, I suggest using it that way. |

Yes sorry...
So the problem is that whatsapp-for-linux only opens a blank white window, without any content inside. NEver asks me to login or anything, just a blank window. |
