Hi,
The postinst LOG reports:
To avoid automounting and auto(un)installing with /boot,
just export the DONT_MOUNT_BOOT variable.
So it has been done for root in .bashrc.
Still I hardly understand what to be expected out of this.
Any idea?
Thks 4 ur attention

Hi,
I see. My bad for not checking existing threads.

grub-mkconfig generated identical grub.cfg whatever setting. Doesn't really prove anything though.

Not even sure whether it concerns grub2 compilation only, or does it also affect builded exe (dynamically via the variable of statically at compile time)?

Doesn't seems critical @ 1st sight.

But I took notice of this while trying to pvgrub2 a Xen domU, which some side features are not behaving as expected, So my problem remains.

Thks 4 ur attention, interest & support.
