Not sure where this post would be best suited so I thought I would throw it out here.

Question is this:
Under a normal build of HTML::Mason the MakeFile.PL dies if it cannot load Params::Validate, however, the ebuild script does not list this as a dependancy. How then, is HTML::Mason being compiled correctly via an emerge?

Thanks for any help,
- w e a s e l

Hi!

Does the ebuild work? i.e., Params::Validate might be pulled in (or included) in by a dependency of a dependency.

If not, this is a dependency bug and should be reported at https://bugs.gentoo.org

Yeah, it compiles fine, but then I have problems trying to use it with apache. Weird...I will prolly shoot an email to the buglist. If anyone has sucessfully used the emerged version of HTML::Mason with apache please let me know about it.

Thanks All,
