The livecd install goes with 1024x768, but my screen can only do that with scrolling.
How can I change it to 800x600??? |

hi,
i don't really know but if you could check the parameters that you can manually pass to the kernel before he boots, i am sure you should find some solutions

Put the vga keyword as a parameter for you kernel: like this:
Here is a table with vga codes (from the handbook):
640x480 800x600 1024x768 1280x1024
8 bpp 769 771 773 775
16 bpp 785 788 791 794
32 bpp 786 789 792 795
B.T.W. This doesn't belong in the Network and Security forum.
