Hi, wenn I try to exec enemy territory setup
Code: | sh sh /home/hovigm/et-linux-2.55.x86.run |
after a while aI become this error message :
Code: | ./setup.sh: line 278: 14259 Segmentation fault "$setup" "$@" 2>>$NULL
The setup program seems to have failed on x86/glibc-2.1 |
what does it mean?
I have sys-libs/glibc Latest version installed: 2.3.3.20040420-r1
can someone please help me??

It's in portage.
Tho your installer seems to be the wrong one, so you can't copy it to portage/distfiles to avoid downloading. |

thx, but I've discovered now the problem, I started the installer as root, and then it gave me error messages.I don't know why.....
in case someone else has the same problem:
install it as normal user, then the installer will ask you the root pass...and everything works fine :=) |
