|
|
I have Nokia 7250i and I want to transfer photos from phone memory to computer.
I have Mobile Action MA-6820E USB cable
it has some USB to Serial converter, which has support in kernel.
so when I plug the cable:
Code: |
usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using address 2
drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: descriptor matches
drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: found interrupt in
drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: found bulk out
drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: found bulk in
usbserial 1-2:1.0: PL-2303 converter detected
drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: get_free_serial 1
drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: get_free_serial - minor base = 0
drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: usb_serial_probe - setting up 1 port structures for this device
drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: usb_serial_probe - registering ttyUSB0
usb 1-2: PL-2303 converter now attached to ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs)
drivers/usb/serial/console.c: registering the USB serial console.

but that's all. I tried GAMMU and GNOKII, but it doesn't work
Code: |
# gammu --identify
Error during reading device
# gnokii --identify
GNOKII Version 0.6.0
Telephone interface init failed: Command timed out.
Quitting.

As far as I know, mobile action cables and their software are rather proprietary. I've only used their SE cables so what do i know, just a thought |
