who is this Scott the Great you speak of and where is his ebuild...lol
all that is left now is the release of kde-3.1 and then installing the new release of liquid....needs qt-3.1 i think and kde 3.1 to work correctly.
i am still running gcc-2.95.3 but its working very well and i emerged the gentoo-r9 kernel the other day and it seems much faster then the vanilla.
getting better all the time |

i wouldn't say the flash 6 beta "works" yet. yeah, mozilla loads it fine (with gcc 3.2), but all flash windows are totally garbled and useless.
of course, i'm running a patched mozilla 1.1 with gtk2 and xft, so the whole thing is pretty scary anyways |

Works great for me and I'm running two Gentoo machines, one is well updated to gcc-3.2, etc. The other is, well, not so updated. Both work well with the flash 6 plugin but I'm using Phoenix 0.4 (phoenix-bin) on both systems. |

My Flash files run just fine in Mozilla 1.1 but when I right-click and try to configure the thing my Mozilla dumps core. Anyone been able to solve that? |

really? do you have it patched with xft and gtk2?
i was under the impression that gtk2 mozilla was kind of hooped for plugins anyways, so i wasn't too surprised when it didn't work. |

I've found that netscape-flash6 crashed phoenix 0.3 and 0.4. Anytime I would go to a flash site, it would bork. I unmerged and went back to 5.0.51 or whatever and it works much better. but YMMV. |
