Mine appears to have not worked.
The init script deletes forcesample as directed then runs /usr/sbin/sample-init-process /etc/conf.d/sofile-list.load &
from here it closes almost instantly. My question is do i have to manually create /etc/conf.d/sortfile-list.load since that would be the $1 value ...

Ctrl-F find doesn't work.
Highlighting does. Ctrl-F doesn't work for me either. That is no dialog pops up but then a little find text box at the bottom left appears. It doesn't seem to find anything though
and that's the most anoying thing. I _love_ the use of 'F3' when searching in long pages ...

Bijna, je moet eerste de sources installeren (emerge gentoo-sources), daarna configureren (cd /usr/src/linux; make menuconfig) en daarna compileren (make dep && make clean bzImage modules install modules_install)

Hi there,
What are the pros and cons of having the LiveCD start sshd automatically and to make it not scramble the root password?
This would make it so much easier installing Gentoo on my new server, as I wouldn't have to connect monitor and keyboard to set things up...

Surely, there is a security ...

The `emerge world -up' after `emerge rsync' showed me a long list of updates this morning (I also did an world -u yesterday). Some research revealed that most of these packages have the same version in ~x86. Can it be a mistake when unmasking packages? Will an rsync soon repair the ...
