:oops: They used to be, as far as I can remember.
The WIKI now talks about 'ABS - The Arch Build System'.
That shows me something else.
Soo, has changed then? Perhaps? So be it!

I think they will disagree! They state it and binaries need to be build before you can download ...

Looked. So it only works for app-office/abiword-plugins, as far as I can tell.

[Solved] Useflags in koffice-1.5.2.ebuild

Added the use of the useflag in 'app-office/koffice/koffice-1.5.2.ebuild':

wordperfect? ( >=app-text/libwpd-0.8.2 )

equery u koffice-1.5.2 returns:

- - wordperfect : <unknown>

Ufed says that it is a local flag.
Is that the reason it won't show it's description?

Very difficult to get a clue! Is your system rocksteady in other circumstances? You are rebuilding the toolchain! From what environment? As it can be something other than the problems that occur usually!

Ahh, edited "emerge --info" in. So I now do same thingy!

:D It will work, if configured correctly. I know, as I am running Gentoo on the same kind of processor. So being a little more specific about what didn't work at what stage in the process of running the installation will help to get an answer.

Think me missing the point that gentoo-sources are there to support ALL arch's Gentoo is intended to run on 'supported' as the different information keeps stating. :)
