hello,

ok, i've got a small problem regarding 'emerge -u world', when i issue that command, it seems to think that i have no out-dated packages.. although on a diffrent box, some packages are at later versions. I have issued 'emerge sync' but the problem is the same.. on another box, everything is working fine, and as far as i know, i did everything exactlly the same :\.. any help would be apretiated.

Thank You.

p.s i use aMSN and version 0.83 is the only version in portage on the probel box, and on another box portage has 0.90.. i'm sure that must be related to this problem :\.. (btw aMSN is just on of the packages that are in portage at a lower version than another box.)

If you take a look at this, you'll immediately get the answer:
Quote:
* net-im/amsn-0.83 :
[ ] 0.83 (0)

* net-im/amsn-0.90 :
[ ~ ] 0.90 (0)

Make sure first that you have ACCEPT_KEYWORDS set ~. If you have x86, set it ~x86. If it doesn't solve the problem, please post the output of
Code:
emerge info

Edit:
1. spelling
