Today I have been working my way through the amd64 x86_64 bit handbook (desktop) and have got as far as chapter 8 code listing 3.6 Specify your locales. For the life of me I can not find any locales for the East Coast of Australia.
They might flash past when I type locale -a, but my terminal won't wind back beyond
es_ES.iso88591
so I can't find them.
If someone can give me the locale for Australia's east coast it would be appreciated.
My other problem is that I'm using a usb mobile broadband and haven't found any instructions for that either (yet) ...... I think this is a moprobe issue and was going to worry about it later........ But solving this too would be appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome to Gentoo!
Perhaps you could try 'locale -a | more'? |
