i get this error when i try to emerge xgl even if i followed the wiki

You might try doing
| Code: | | eselect opengl set xorg-x11 |
then emerging it, and then doing
| Code: | | eselect opengl set nvidia/ati/whatever you have |
If you don't know what you should set it to, run eselect opengl list.
That's what fixed this for me. |

Now it works but when emerge try to unemerge the old xgl i get this error:ù

i downloaded the file (xgl-cofee) from subversion, then i added the overlay | Code: | PORTDIR_OVERLAY=/usr/local/xgl-coffee
|
to make.conf file... the overlay is complete and i've updated portage version 2 days ago  |
