In the HOWTO, it tells to use gnome-session-properties to start a script, but I am unable to locate any startup area with numbers in GNOME 2.14. How do I add the startup script properly?

EDIT: Apparently, the newer version of GDM I use forces the "Standard" command to be Xgl, which wasn't mentioned in the HOWTO.

Is your problem solved then? Can you mark this as solved if so, and feel free to change the wiki to reflect the correct way to load compiz through gdm. (I've always edited gdm.conf myself, not sure what the wiki says these days.... never scroll down that far ;) )

I agree, I think that the wiki have some mistakes... I'll change it if I could solve my little problem with loading compizrc, do you know how can have it automatically loaded after starting kde?
