Hi!...i've some problem to Run nwn (Never Winter Nights).First i downloaded the package (more than 1gb) then i emerged it.but when i launch it this message appear:

bash-2.05b$ nwn
Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)

anyone can help me?????

Do you still have that file? (nwresources)
you can always extract it into your home-directory, patch it up and simply play

Well, if you own the game, you can actually install from the CD's...go to http://www.icculus.org/~ravage/nwn/ and follow the instructions there =)

you need to downoad the linux 1.29 binary ...extract it and then run ./fixinstall

Might be a good idea to patch up to the newest version (1.32) as well =P

I had no problem, i just compiled the latest version of libsdl (all packages) and everything is going fine, except from some nasty frameskips.
Also SoU is running fine.

I had the same error and had to change my X color depth from 16bit
to 32bit (iirc). Maybe that helps.
