I've CUPS 1.4.4 installed and had a Document printed from OpenOffice 3.2.1 on my Brother MFC-7820N using the Brother supplied .ppd and an ipp-queue.
The printer is connected over a network.
However, The printout is plain wrong. But the sneaky part: It's not all wrong. Only all the capital "D"s are substituted by capital "A"s...
WTF?!
I've tracked it down to the ipp-Protocol (using a raw printer is fine, but lacks printer setup options, of course and it doesn't appear to be doing this using the lpd-Queue) and would like to ask if anyone else ever had this problem?
Where to file a bug report? CUPS-upstream?
