Portalized - open source Portal

I thought I'd bring up this exclusive I have on Free Gamer about a [potentially open source] Portal-inspired game called Portalized.
It has portals that scale (i.e. go through and the world changes size), physics that work through portals, and soon lighting that works through portals. It should be cross platform (ogre3d is the graphics engine) when the beta is available (next few weeks). It's pretty funky:

This looks brilliant =D can't wait for some stable code/binaries to be released.

It looks great but he says he may not release it under an open source license. What I'm wondering is since if he links to or modifies Ogre3D. If he links to it the choice is his but if he modifies it in any way those changes must be made available to the public under the LGPL. I really hope he releases the source.

Most of his code is in lua (i.e. script) so I don't think the virality of the GPL applies to Portalized. Also Ogre3D is LGPL, again allowing distribution with closed source software.

What I ment about Orgre3D being LGPL(I forgot the L originally) is that if he made any changes directly to Ogre3D, such as the libraries themselves, he would need to release those changes. The LGPL allows linking of closed source apps to them but if you make any changes to the LGPL licensed code you still have to publish those.

Yeah, but Ogre is just a graphics engine. I don't think his portal stuff is touching the Ogre code directly.

That really reminds me of Peter Molyneux's "The Room" demo that he showcased a few years back.
