Hi,

I want to create a presentation using prosper. Therefore I need to place some citations on the slides directly. Is there something else than bibentry? This package seems to be not working :/

I'm not sure but I think that you must put \bibitem entries in a \thebibliography enviroment.
For example

Code: Select all

\begin{thebibliography}{10}
\bibitem{Goldback1742}[Goldback, 1742]
Christian Goldback.
\newblock \emph{Carta a Leonhard Euler}, 1742
\end{thebibliography}

Hope this helps but, anyways, the best place are the Tex lists ;)

Oops I meant for beamer sorry :oops:

The Gentoo TeX installation is showing its age. I've installed the 2007 TeXLive system and have been very happy with it. It's not in Portage but it is very easy to install.

Since beamer works with bibtex & can mimic prosper, Zagloj's advice might be worthwhile.
