Hallo,
After reading this I found out that the /usr/portage/packages/All have a lot of .tbz2 packages. What is the use of all these files? Can I remove all thes?
I am presently at 80% of my 5 GB / partition

If you're like me and periodically clean out /usr/portage/distfiles, then looking there won't help.

If you're not able to run qpkg, make sure you have emerged gentoolkit.

Could've sworn this had been answered already, but I didn't find anything.

I've added a response to the thread in SA1: Running out of diskspace.

Split from another thread.
