atm i have a fresh gentoo 2004.3 system, which seems to be corrupted in some way.
now i want to install another 2004.3 stage1

hda1 /boot
hda2 swap
hda3 /
hda5 /mnt/gentoo/boot
hda6 /mnt/gentoo

got stage1 tarball, fixed typo in bootstrap.sh, did chroot and scripts/bootstrap.sh -p shows correct packages to be installed.
but when i do bootstrap.sh it shows:

Quote:
* System has been bootstrapped already!
* If you re-bootstrap the system, you must complete the entire bootstrap process
* otherwise you will have a broken system.
* Press enter to continue or CTRL+C to abort ...

my chroot environment contains only a stage1 tarball.

new version of bootstrap.sh is saving progress in /var/run/bootstrap_progress so you could resume at certain points.
after doing bootstrap.sh -p, status 6 is saved, so you can't begin bootstraping.
