I just finished a stage 3 install from the 2004.1 CD and went to emerge apache and some other apps but for some reason when portage goes to download the files it keeps getting an ip of 1.0.0.0 for the source. I can ping anything I want and it resolves the IP correctly. I would put in a different mirror and see if that works but I can't emerge mirrorselect because of this problem and it is occuring on the live CD as well. I have 3 other stage 1 installs that work perfectly. Is this some sort of know bug with stage 3 installs? _________________ Yeah, I know about the recovery console. Usually, it doesn't do anything more than I can do with a match, a weedwhacker, and a sledgehammer. Actually, it does a whole lot less. - Caffinehog |
