Wham blam shazam, Firefox 1.0 is finally out. No idea what's new yet, I haven't got time to test it.

Two years old already :)

I have the win version installed. Seems faster. Theme is nicer too.

I like it so far!

People, please get it from a mirror near you, and do not hit the main mozilla.org server. It has a hard enough time already ;)

Kind of funny... the mozilla.org website is CRAWLING... but my download speeds were in excess of 250KBps. Go fig.

Gotta say, I heart Firefox!

http://www.google.com/firefox

Eat that msn search!

I think I liked 0.9 better. There don't seem to be new versions of any of the skins I liked.

The design for said ad in the NYT is not yet finalized. Once that is done, the NYT will give a largish window (~3 weeks) in which to promise to run the ad. This relaxation of run date gives the folks at www.spreadfirefox.com a much better price than if they specified one exact day.

So cool... the minimalist approach of Google design with the lightness of Firefox ... Internet like I dream it :D

I think I'll wait till people stop /.-ing it to download the source code though. I wonder: is there a changelog of sorts so I know what's changed since 1.0 RC 2? Thanls.

As someone who started using firefox at 0.2, I gotta say it's come a long way. Great browser.
