Hello,
I am getting a lot of warnings like these from Kde when starting KDE Applications:
kdecore (KIconLoader): WARNING: Icon directory /usr/share/icons/hicolor/ group 16x16/stock/chart not valid.
...
But the directories exists.
Is there maybe a known problem with a Kde Package or some way to stop this warning?
I have the following kde packages installed:
dev-util/kdevelop *
kde-base/arts *
kde-base/kde-env *
kde-base/kdeartwork *
kde-base/kdebase *
kde-base/kdeedu *
kde-base/kdegraphics *
kde-base/kdelibs *
media-tv/kdetv
Thanks in advance,
Fionn |

I had that problem too, it is caused because you have some parts of gnome installed. If you do not need them, I suggest unmerging them, as that should clear up the problem.
I also noticed, after doing that that the icon sets in control panel that didn't work before have disappeared. |
