This post is for those asking how to change Icons and such for engage.
Take a look at the theme I made. It's not too hard.
First, grab an existing theme here.
(thanks to the author for permission to use) It's the gant engage theme.
Just move gant_engage.eet to ~/.e/apps/engage/themes and it's
ready to use.
Inside you'll find the directory structure to create a theme. Add
your own images to the images dir. Inside the images dir, run "rebuild_images.sh".
Edit hashes/icon_mappings.edc to map applications to a new Icon group.
(Window Class is important. Run "xprop WM_CLASS|cut -d \, -f 2" and
click on a title bar to get the window class)
Edit gant_engage.edc, and at the bottom add a "GENERIC_ICON..."
line for your Icon group to point to your image.
Run build_theme.sh and it'll create gand_engage.eet. The 'sudo' part is
only for putting the theme in /usr/local/share (i just hit CTRL-C at that
point). Move gant_engage.eet to ~/.e/apps/engage/themes.
Finally, edit ~/.e/apps/engage/applinks and mappings to reflect your
new Icon group and correct window class.
Have fun! |
