Hello.
Im probably not the only one who is exalted by the news about OpenTTD, so i quickly downloaded it, copied the needed files from my TTD-CD and started the game, well...no music but sounds.
Hmm i though...midi right?
So i used the ./ttd -m extmidi to use midi to play the music and i got this.
Quote: |
ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1057:(snd_pcm_hw_open) open /dev/snd/pcmC0D0p failed: Device or resource bysy
Couldn't open output device

The thing here is that if i install Timidity++ i can use that to play the files seperatly, but i need to increase the audio buffers to do it flawless.
And if i use the Timidity daemon i can use other apps. like pmidi to listen to the files too, but it still won't work in OpenTTD.
Im quite sure my hardware midi-device isn't started or active or anything...anyway, any help?
I have been searching the forums carefully and trying different solutions to the problem all day, it's now 01:30 am so im kinda tired. |
