I'm having a strange problem with librsvg 2.4.0-r1. When I try to emerge it on my laptop, I get the following error (shown with a bit of make's output before hand):

Code:

/bin/sh ../mkinstalldirs /var/tmp/portage/librsvg-2.4.0-r1/image//usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.2.0/loaders

/bin/sh ../libtool  --mode=install /bin/install -c svg_loader.la /var/tmp/portage/librsvg-2.4.0-r1/image//usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.2.0/loaders/svg_loader.la

Searches on the forums, Bugzilla, and Google didn't turn up anything helpful. Any ideas?

If more info is needed, please let me know. I also updated another computer with presumably the same version (both Intel PCs, both running the stable tree, both emerged with "-u world").

Thanks for any help!

Same here, and I'm also on a portable.

I've posted a bug report that you might want to get CC'ed on (#42236)

Thanks for the tip. I haven't solved this one yet, but I've done a little more digging, and added a comment to the bug report.

In the interest of full disclosure, this bug was apparently fixed in the later librsvg releases. 2.6.5 compiles cleanly on my ThinkPad.
