Hi I have a MS USB intellimouse Exploter 3.0A running on a Dell Deminsion 8200. I have gone through most of the imwheel tutorials and none of them seem to work for me.

The closest function that the two side buttons can do is move pages up and down but I needed it to function as a back and forth button on browsers and konqueror.

I ran the event tester on the two button and here is what I came up with:

I run this which works

Oh and I do not use the .imwheelrc file as this isn't really required

I'm also using IE3, when I pressed the side button, the xev reports 4 events instead of 2, like this:

add a -f to your imwheel startup command. It will force the key binding. Had same problem (only page up down) in Mozilla until i added the -f

Maybe better response here :)

Kie, i play nwn, and i would love to use imwheel along with it.
imwheel works fine with everything else.

Now pls correct me if im wrong.

Imwheel acts as a layer between mouse events and <target application>,
transforming said mouse events into the sequence set up in imwheelrc.
So <target application> shouldnt even receive those events if i block them
at the level of imwheel.

As well i see that imwheel is tied to a particular display.
do unreal or nwn use a different display when launched ?

if so, how do i find out which display it is ?

Alright, for people who look into this, it works only in windowed mode
for me.
Name of window for nwn is 'SDL_app'

Now to get it to work with pre5 or pre6, and if someone out there
sees how to link it with full screen apps id be a happy bugger.
