elogind issue after system update [SOLVED]

Hi all,

Today I ran my monthly system update and updated to theatest kernel, no issues, following a reboot I see the following error:

elogind code should not be reached at src/shared/service-util.c:88

It seems elogind is broken now but unsure as to why, I use OpenRc not systemd, any help would be appreciated it was fine before the system update.

I think you got rather unlucky with your timing: it's fixed now (bad version is masked), see bug 976623.
