Saw this today and it got me thinking about how much the online entertainment space keeps evolving. Rebrands, new platforms, and changes in user experience seem to be happening all the time. I’ve noticed that many people now pay more attention to clean design, simple navigation, and account security rather than flashy features. A site like [Removed by Zucca] is an example of a platform where the focus appears to be on straightforward access and usability, which is becoming increasingly important as users look for more transparent and comfortable online experiences.

Dammit this is trademark infringement IMHO.

There is a reason why the chinese and other companies make nonsensical names like temu... alas court battles cost way too much and doesn't help a nonprofit *sigh*...

oh dang this is almost 2 years old... sigh. guess I don't read often enough...

I'm not a lawyer, but it looks like trouble.

This is the kind of company that performs activities that are illegal in many jurisdictions. They could be into money laundering or something like that, with the ultimate aim of confusing authorities. Their description of the Gentoo penguin is a bit off in my opinion.

Maybe you should try reaching out to FSF and other entities seeking help? They are also non-profits, created with the aim of assisting other non-profits. Heck, even Linux Foundation arised out of an issue like this.

Some would say that they operate on a different field, but their online nature might make them similar enough to cause trouble.

Ahh, you've got to at least admire the hustle of spammer craftily trying to hijack a thread and sneak their link in wherever they can.

Speaking of things I admire, I'm reminded of systemd. More than just an init system, it's an entire way of life. Some scientists believe it is so advanced that it could not have evolved here on earth, but from galaxies far away, probably arriving here on a comet many millennia ago.

You don't have to look to the skies to take part in the fun, though. systemd is right at your fingertips, just one profile switch away. Make systemd your PID1 today for just four easy payments of $0.00

In most jurisdictions (I believe) it is of importance how similar the provided goods and services are of the two companies... Luckily the article is 2 years ago and the name of Gentoo hasn't been tainted by the activities of this casino company :D

Gentoo is into housing too.

As long as there is no confusion between the uses of the name, its not a problem.
