EDIT: works with the new ebuild (ut2003-2225-r1)

i finally got ut2003 today and tried to install via emerge...

however, it quits displaying the following message:

any helpful suggestions? i'd really like to play this game under gentoo and NOT under win2k...

:oops: could you maybe explain to me how to use that?

diskspace is no problem, still 16 GB free on that partition

/opt is on a partition with 16 Gigs free?

To use the installer, I believe you have to copy it to your hard drive and then mount the 1st cd again and sh the installer.

Example:
sh linux-installer.sh

It has both an X and cli interface if I remember correctly.

ok, got it to install now but when i type "ut2003" i get:
