Okay, this is probably not the right place to ask but I'll try anyway, I would like to see an ebuild added for 'openwebmail' (www.openwebmail.org).
To install a couple of dependencies are needed. Other than that only an untar to the /var/www/localmachine (or whatever is your httpd dir), adjustment to the config file and init by a tool installed. So no compilation needed whatsoever.
How do I go about? would anyone be willing to make such an ebuild? should I do it myself? (total newbie to ebuilds though, or the scripting language it uses). And how to I get it added to the portage tree?
Openwebmail is way better (imho) than squirrelmail... Love to hear anyones thoughts about this. |

The Gentoo Bugzilla is the place to make such requests. And it has already been requested, but noone has volunteerd an ebuild yet. _________________ Please read our FAQ Forum, it answers many of your questions.
